April this year I joined Toddington narrow gauge railway as a complete novice with the plan to learn everything railway, from the permanent way team right though to driving an engine and pulling the odd signal.
Things are going well the summer was spent on guarding duties with my daughter we covered loads of the first few trains of the day through out the summer and plenty of grass cutting painting fences.
The ggr may have closed but its about to re open as a portable layout, as I type glue is drying on my latest railway.
Summer at long last is here, plenty of stuff going on in the garden bridges have been painted, plants planted and bushes trimmed.
A new Loco arrived at the GGR on friday called Anna a some what modified accucraft edrig, pics to follow.
