April this year I joined Toddington narrow gauge railway as a complete novice with the plan to learn everything railway, from the permanent way team right though to driving an engine and pulling the odd signal. Things are going well the summer was spent on guarding duties with my daughter we covered loads of the first few trains of the day through out the summer and plenty of grass cutting painting fences.
